Light and Color

Below are a few of my photographs taken over the course of 2008, 2007, and 2006. Although I have always been partial to the light, shadow, textures and tones of black and white photographs, I found a new appreciation for color when my fiance and I visited Santa Fe in the Spring of 2008. The deep blue sky and red browns of the adobe buildings are breathtaking. We both felt as if we had fallen into a magical place separate and apart from the rest of the world. No wonder this special place is home to so many great artists and ancient native cultures.
